Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department in Ohio. The role supports trauma and diagnostic imaging with day/evening shifts (4x10 hours) and a biweekly schedule. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available for external applicants.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, patient scheduling, and educating patients to ensure comfort and understanding. Cross-training is available within the department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Work well independently and as part of the CT team.
