Job summary

MetroHealth seeks a skilled CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Cleveland. You will perform CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The role emphasizes patient education and safety throughout imaging workflows. Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, be an ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist, and hold or obtain ARRT CT credential within one year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Communicate effectively with team and patients; work well under stress and with minimal supervision.
