Job summary

Join the MetroHealth Radiology Department as a CT Technologist. You will produce quality CT images, support CT-guided procedures, and coordinate imaging for inpatients and outpatients while educating patients and collaborating with nurses, physicians, and fellow technologists.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, clear communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a CT team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Schedule and coordinate imaging for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examinations.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Work both independently and as part of the CT team.
