Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and ensure patient safety. You will perform CT exams, operate equipment, and document procedures in RIS/PACS.

The role requires ARRT CT and Radiography certifications, ARRT R, BLS, and at least one year of radiology experience. This full-time night-shift position offers benefits, sign-on and relocation support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams following department protocols and ensure diagnostic image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment independently and adjust techniques as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and rooms; report issues promptly.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification before procedures.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques and position patients with proper shielding.
• Review and adjust images for diagnostic quality; document procedures in RIS/PACS systems.
• Monitor patient conditions; respond to emergencies and maintain life-support equipment as needed.
• Organize workflow, support department operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and rooms, reporting issues promptly.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification before procedures.
• Explain procedures using AIDET, addressing patient questions and reducing anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques, and position patients correctly with proper shielding.
• Review and adjust images for diagnostic quality, and document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS systems.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and maintain life-support equipment as needed.
• Organize workflow, support department operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association).
