Rock Health in Rutledge, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and support patient care within a busy radiology department. You will perform CT procedures, adjust techniques, and ensure accurate RIS/PACS documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT certifications and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to guidelines, capturing diagnostic images with minimal radiation exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of rooms and equipment, reporting issues promptly.
• Gather patient history, verifying orders, and ensuring patient safety.
• Explain procedures, address patient questions, and provide age-appropriate care.
• Administer contrast media using sterile techniques and perform correct patient positioning.
• Review images for quality, repeat scans if necessary, and document accurately in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain life-support equipment.
• Organize workflow, support departmental operations, and ensure compliance with regulations.
