Job summary

Plan A Health, in Georgia, seeks a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high‑quality imaging and support patient care. You will perform CT procedures, ensure optimal image quality with ALARA, and document results in RIS/PACS while maintaining comfort and safety for patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department protocols to capture diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently with emphasis on image quality and ALARA.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and rooms; report issues promptly.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and screen for contraindications.
• Explain procedures clearly; address patient questions; ensure comfort, privacy and safety.
• Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques and proper positioning.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and document in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and support department workflows.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and assist with daily departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department protocols, capturing diagnostic images with technical expertise.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and rooms, report issues promptly.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and screen for contraindications.
• Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and ensure comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques and perform exams with proper positioning and safety measures.
• Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat if necessary, and document accurately in RIS/PACS systems.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and support department workflows.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, organize daily tasks, and assist with departmental operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support).
