Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology is seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join the CT team in Ohio. You will produce quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures, while coordinating scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Ideal candidates will hold ARRT CT credential, Ohio Radiographer License and BLS, with ability to work under pressure and communicate clearly with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce CT images with high quality across settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drains, tumor ablations.
• Schedule inpatients and outpatients for CT exams.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians and care teams.
• Operate CT scanners safely, following policies and procedures.
