Job summary

Join MetroHealth in Ohio in our Radiology Department as a CT Technologist. You will perform CT imaging, assist with CT guided procedures, and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Required are ARRT RT with CT credential and a valid Ohio Radiographer license; BLS certification or obtainment within probation. Cross-training is available; schedule includes day/evening shifts on 4x10-hour days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Radiology Technologist certification.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Ohio Radiographer license (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• On-the-spot critical thinking.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT Team.
