Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department in Ohio is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging and support CT-guided procedures. You will assist with biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations while coordinating patient flow for inpatients and outpatients.

Ideal candidates will hold ARRT credentials, an Ohio Radiographer License, and BLS certification. The role requires teamwork, clear communication, and the ability to work under pressure within a busy CT suite.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtainable within probationary period.
• Preferred: ARRT CT credential.
• One year related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
