Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Ohio. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist in CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for both inpatients and outpatients.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS, with cross-training opportunities and strong communication skills to support a multidisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on the spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
