Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department in Ohio. You will produce CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and educate patients while coordinating scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The role requires ARRT certification, an Ohio radiography license, and BLS. Cross-training with CT staff and ability to work well under pressure are essential. Biweekly hours and shift details apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and equipment to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Function well under stress and with minimal supervision.
