Zusammenfassung

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department in the Cleveland area. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The candidate will educate patients about procedures, demonstrate critical thinking, and communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other care team members. Cross-training is available as part of the MetroHealth System.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Aufgaben

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Schedules and coordinates for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and problem solving.
• Exhibits effective communication with the care team and patients.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT Team.
