Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department in the Cleveland area is seeking a CT Technologist to join a high-volume team. You will produce high-quality CT images and assist with CT-guided procedures, while maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout exams.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT CT certification and an Ohio radiographer license, with cross-training and on-call opportunities. A up-to-$15,000 sign-on bonus is available for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assisting with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT Team.
