Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Cryogenic Responsible Engineer to provide technical oversight, requirement development, and hardware ownership for cryogenic propellant management on our lunar transportation systems. You will guide cradle-to-grave development, work with suppliers, and lead design reviews to ensure safe, reliable flight hardware.

You will own hardware from concept through manufacturing, testing, and operation, collaborating with IPT and external teams to push high-performance, reusable

Qualifications

  • B.S. in aerospace/Mechanical/Physics or related field.
  • 5+ years of cryogenic fluids and mechanical systems experience.
  • Experience developing, integrating and certifying aerospace systems for flight.
  • Familiar with cryogenic fluid management techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Work at significant technical depth on complex subsystems with minimal oversight.
  • Manage internal and external procurements and hardware dependencies.
  • Lead cryogenic design, testing, and supplier interfaces as needed.
  • Own hardware drawing release, manufacturing plans, and vehicle integration.
  • Lead internal and external cryogenic development meetings.
  • Cradle-to-grave ownership of cryogenic system.
