Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Cryogenic Responsible Engineer to provide technical oversight, requirements development, manufacturing support and hardware ownership on cryogenic propellant management devices. You will own hardware from cradle to grave and deliver to the vehicle, covering the full lifecycle from definition to operation with internal and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years in cryogenic fluids and mechanical systems.
• Experience with flight-certified aerospace systems.
• Familiar with fluid/gas components and cryogenic management.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware drawing release and manufacturing plan development.
• Lead design, analysis, testing, and supplier interface activities.
• Oversee cradle-to-grave ownership of cryogenic systems.
• Lead internal/external cryogenic development meetings.
• Ensure integration of propulsion and fluid systems onto the vehicle.
