Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Liquid Systems Responsible Engineer for the Zero-g Propellant Management team in the Lunar Permanence unit. You will oversee cryogenic propellant hardware development, support fabrication/assembly/qualification for production, and coordinate with design, quality, and supply chain to ensure manufacturability and reliability.

Role spans hardware ownership support, design reviews, and shop-floor troubleshooting, with travel up to 25% and relocation provided.

Qualifications

BS in a technical field with aerospace/manufacturing focus.
5+ years in cryogenic fluids and mechanical systems or relevant engineering role.
Experience developing and certifying aerospace hardware for flight.
Hands-on with fluid/gas components and manufacturing documentation.
Ability to translate requirements into manufacturable processes and to work across design and shop floor.

Responsibilities

Support hardware ownership of cryogenic propellant management components and verification.
Work on subsystems within the Zero-g Propellant Management IPT with senior guidance.
Support trade studies, design/integration, and supplier interface for cryogenic hardware.
Track procurements and hardware dependencies to support schedules.
Develop and maintain manufacturing docs, work instructions, and test plans.
Participate in process FMEAs, risk assessments, and validation activities for tooling/lines.
