Blue Origin seeks a Senior Cryogenic Responsible Engineer to lead the liquid subsystem baseline and own cradle-to-grave hardware for the Blue Moon lunar lander program, delivering safe, high-performance cryogenic propellant management solutions for spaceflight.

This role requires 8+ years in cryogenic fluids and aerospace systems, strong leadership, and the ability to collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cryogenic fluids and mechanical systems/components.
• Experience developing, integrating and certifying aerospace systems for flight.
• Experience leading small teams and subcontractor teams to accomplish objectives.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and control the liquid subsystem technical baseline, providing leadership.
• Manage internal and external procurements and hardware dependencies for deliveries.
• Lead technical trades on cryogenic systems to meet vehicle and customer needs.
• Own hardware drawing release, manufacturing plan development, and integration onto the vehicle.
• Lead cryogenic development meetings and cradle-to-grave ownership of the cryogenic system.
