Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Cryogenic Responsible Engineer to provide technical oversight, requirement development, manufacturing support and hardware ownership for cryogenic propellant management on the Lunar Permanence program. You will own hardware from cradle to grave and drive it through the full lifecycle from definition to vehicle integration.

You will lead technical discussions, collaborate with internal and external suppliers, and apply advanced design, analysis and test methods to deliver

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of cryogenic fluids and mechanical systems experience.
• Experience with flight hardware integration and certification.
• Experience with cryogenic components (valves, manifolds, regulators).
• Excellent collaboration in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work at significant technical depth on complex subsystems with minimal oversight.
• Manage internal and external procurements and hardware dependencies required to meet subsystem deliveries.
• Lead trade studies, component design/integration, 1st order analysis, test support and supplier interface.
• Own hardware drawing release, manufacturing plan development, manufacturing support and integration onto the vehicle.
• Lead internal and external cryogenic development meetings.
• Cradle-to-grave ownership of cryogenic system.
