Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Cryogenic Responsible Engineer to lead the liquid subsystem baseline and oversee hardware cradle-to-grave for the Lunar Permanence program. You will drive requirements, design, and manufacturing support across cryogenic components for flight hardware.

You will collaborate with internal and external teams, manage procurements, and guide the lifecycle from concept to operation, shaping high-performance, reusable propulsion and fluid systems for lunar missions.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cryogenic fluids and mechanical systems/components.
• Experience developing, integrating and certifying aerospace systems for flight.
• Experience with cryogenic fluid management techniques and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and control the liquid subsystem technical baseline with leadership.
• Manage internal and external procurements and hardware dependencies.
• Lead technical trades on cryogenic systems to meet vehicle and customer needs.
• Own hardware drawing release, manufacturing plan development, and integration onto the vehicle.
• Lead internal and external cryogenic development meetings.
• Cradle-to-grave ownership of cryogenic system.
