Job summary
Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Launch Engineer to join the Launch Engineering team in the United States. You will help ensure ground systems and vehicle readiness for flight, develop ground software requirements, write sequencer code, and contribute to controller-panel design.
The role emphasizes safety, collaboration, and inclusion, with opportunities to earn launch-controller certification and to grow technical leadership while supporting time-critical operations during launch campaigns.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering, Science, or Math required.
- 1+ years in cryogenic, propellant handling, or engine systems.
- Strong operations planning and organizational skills.
- Effective technical communications abilities.
- Able to support occasional off-shift work.
- U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Develop ground software requirements for launch systems.
- Write sequencer code and assist controller panels.
- Prepare launch readiness and support time-sensitive operations.
- Determine anomaly causes and implement corrective actions.
- Perform data reviews post-flight and drive improvements.
