Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a hands‑on Launch & Test Engineer to join the OLS Test Operations team in Cape Canaveral. You will design, test, and maintain ground support equipment and test enabling hardware for GS2 and related systems, with exposure to cryogenic, hydraulic, electrical, and propellant domains.

The role requires broad technical breadth across cryogenics, hydraulics, electronics, PLCs, and software, plus readiness for off‑shift hours and travel as needed. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related engineering field from an accredited university.
• Experience with automated test sequences in cryogenic, propellant, or pneumatic processes.
• Levels I-III- Senior engineering progression expectations and years.
• Experience authoring/executing automated console procedures for live tests.
• Real-time console operations with anomaly response capabilities.
• Proven PLC, DAQ, HIL, and integrated ground systems experience.
• Knowledge of gas, cryogenic, fluid, hydraulic, or related systems.
• At least 1 year creating work instructions or test procedures.
• Strong safety commitment and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, operate, and maintain test facilities for orbital rockets and related systems.
• Generate and execute test procedures for high‑pressure gas, cryogenic, and fluid systems.
• Work with technicians to perform work on test facilities and test articles.
• Review test data to assess facility health and performance at system level.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, work instructions, and inspection plans.
