Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior fluids/piping engineer to lead on-site systems during the launch infrastructure build. You will oversee cryogenic piping designs, inspections, and testing across LH2, LOX, LNG and GN2 facilities at the launch complex.

You will coordinate with construction teams, review contractor plans, and ensure safety, quality and compliance with ASME B31.3 and related standards throughout field activities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of fluids/piping systems engineering experience.
• Experience with field construction, installation, or commissioning on industrial projects.
• Hands-on cryogenic fluid systems experience (LH2, LOX, LNG, LN2).
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site fluids systems engineering during fabrication, construction and commissioning.
• Review contractor piping/valves/vessels, weld procedures and test plans.
• Verify field modifications and code compliance for cryogenic systems.
