Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a hands-on Launch & Test Engineer for the Orbital Launch Site (OLS) in Cape Canaveral. You will test, inspect, and troubleshoot ground support equipment across cryogenic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including the GS2 stage and related facilities.

The role blends controls/automation with fluid-system expertise in a hybrid skill set. You will collaborate with design, QA, supply chain, and production teams to ensure readiness for flight and static tests, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or related field.
• Experience with automated test sequences for cryogenic, propellant, or pneumatic systems.
• Real-time console operations and off-nominal response experience.
• Proficiency with PLCs, DAQ, HIL, and integrated ground systems (IGS).
• Ability to develop work instructions and test procedures for uptime improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and maintain test facilities for launch vehicles and ground systems.
• Generate test procedures for high‑pressure gas, cryogenic, and fluid systems.
• Lead test operations with technicians and review data for health and performance.
• Maintain documentation, work instructions, and inspection plans for test systems.
• Contribute to safety analyses and implement corrective actions for reliability.
