Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to support the Hotel Manager aboard our ships for the 2026 season. You will lead shipboard hotel operations, oversee guest services, and ensure adherence to service standards while maintaining crew training and safety compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in hotel management, strong organizational and English communication skills, and willingness to travel and live onboard for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management preferred.
• Minimum 3 years management experience at a full-service hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication (English).
• Availability to travel and work long days on ship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Housekeeping Manager and Guest Service Coordinator under the Hotel Manager.
• Assist Hotel Manager as directed and support dining room operations.
• Perform duties of Hotel General Manager when the Hotel General Manager is off ship.
• Oversee shipboard hotel operations, guest services, and crew training.
• Ensure compliance with service standards and safety procedures.
• Attend to guest requests promptly and supervise shipboard events.
