Job summary

Global-e is seeking a skilled Solutions Engineer in New York to drive technical pre-sales discussions with brands expanding cross-border. You will own discovery, architecture scoping, and integration strategies, translating client needs into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include partnering with Sales, Product, and R&D to communicate capabilities, overcome objections, and prototype integrations in merchant environments.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in solution design, integrations, or technical consulting in SaaS.
• Experience in pre-sales or client-facing technical roles preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS or a related field required.
• Solid understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and system architecture.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams remotely.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions with online retailers and brands for cross-border growth.
• Own technical discovery and solution scoping during pre-sales engagements.
• Explain platform capabilities, address roadblocks, and define integration strategies.
• Recommend integration approaches and provide best-practice guidance.
• Travel to customer meetings and workshops as needed.
• Serve as a technical focal point for client integrations and prototyping.
