Job summary

Plains Commerce Bank seeks a results-driven Insurance Relationship Manager to deepen agricultural relationships and attract new customers in the crop insurance space. You will promote a full range of insurance products, including multi-peril crop insurance and revenue protection, to strengthen banking relationships.

The role requires strong consulting, sales, and negotiation skills to present and sell insurance options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience may be considered.
• Strong ability to sell insurance products and explain coverage options.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-term relationships with agricultural operations.

Responsibilities

• Meet with agricultural operations to assess crop insurance needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with farmers, dairy operators and agri-businesses.
• Educate customers on crop insurance importance and options.
• Advise customers on policy options and premiums; explain deadlines and processes.
• Stay updated on crop insurance regulations and ensure compliance.
