Zusammenfassung

Northwest Ambulance is seeking an experienced Critical Care Transport RN to provide high-acuity care during interfacility transport. You will work with an EMT and Dispatch to assess patients and deliver skilled critical care nursing en route to receiving facilities.

The role requires an active RN license, 3 years in ICU/ED, ACLS and PALS certification, with BSN and CCRN/CEN preferred. Paid training, education funds, and a robust benefits package accompany a safety-sensitive schedule.

Qualifikationen

• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 3 years of experience in a critical care or emergency department environment.
• ACLS and PALS certifications prior to hire.
• BSN preferred.
• CCRN and/or CEN certifications preferred.
• EMT-B bridge course offered upon hire.
• Patient transport experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide patient care at a critical care / advanced life support level during interfacility transport.
• Deliver care using ACLS protocols, company protocols, transport orders, and pharmacological knowledge.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, allied health staff, patients, and family members to maintain a safe transport environment.
• Safely lift, transfer, and maneuver patients in and out of ambulances, facilities, and residences.
• Operate the emergency vehicle safely at all times and respond to dispatch instructions.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in accordance with company policy.
• Maintain vehicles, stations, communications equipment, medical equipment, and supplies to Northwest Ambulance standards.
• Attend and participate in continuing education.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and company operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
