Job summary

Northwest Ambulance is seeking an experienced Critical Care Transport RN to provide high-level, one-patient-at-a-time care during interfacility transports. You will be core to delivering ICU‑level nursing with strong clinical judgment in a mobile environment.

You will work with an EMS team, adhere to ACLS/PALS standards, and coordinate closely with physicians, nurses, and families. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a strong emphasis on ongoing education and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required and unencumbered.
• Minimum 3 years in critical care or ED setting.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required before hire.
• CEN or CCRN preferred.
• BSN preferred; EMT-B bridge offered on hire.
• Experience with patient transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing during interfacility transport.
• Deliver care per ACLS protocols and company policies.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and family to ensure safety.
• Safely lift, transfer, and move patients in/around facilities.
• Operate emergency vehicle safely and follow dispatch instructions.
• Document care accurately and timely per policy.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and supplies to standards.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain confidentiality.
