Job summary

Northwest Ambulance is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Response Transport Team. You will assess patients, provide high-level nursing care, and transport patients safely while guiding the team and ensuring compliance with policies.

The role requires active RN license, ACLS/PALS certification, and preferred CCS/BSN. EMT-B bridge offered within 90 days of hire. Shift lengths are 12 or 24 hours with overtime per labor laws.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license required.
  • ACLS and PALS certification prior to hire.
  • CEN and/or CCRN preferred.
  • 3 years of critical care or emergency department experience preferred.
  • BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessment and provide critical nursing care during transport.
  • Supervise patient care and documentation during transport.
  • Operate emergency vehicles safely and adhere to policies.
  • Maintain safety standards and equipment readiness.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Complete required documentation and respond to dispatch instructions.
  • Participate in continuing education and maintain vehicle/station readiness.
