Job summary

Northwest Ambulance is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Response Transport Team. You will provide patient assessment, critical nursing care, and transport services to patients, supervising care during transport.

This role requires an active RN license; ACLS and PALS are required prior to hire, with CEN/CCRN preferred and a BSN preferred. EMT-B bridge course offered within 90 days of hire. Shifts are 12 or 24 hours, with overtime per labor laws.

Qualifications

  • Active and unencumbered RN license is required.
  • ACLS and PALS certification required prior to hire.
  • CEN and/or CCRN certifications preferred.
  • BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient assessment, critical nursing care, and transport services.
  • Supervise patient care, treatment, and assessment during transport.
  • Maintain safety standards, complete documentation, and adhere to policies.
  • Operate emergency vehicles safely and respond to dispatch instructions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and stations; manage equipment and supplies.
