Job summary

Northwest Ambulance Critical Care Transport is seeking a seasoned Critical Care Transport RN to join a dedicated team delivering ICU-level care during interfacility transports. You will assess and supervise patients en route, using ACLS protocols and hospital standards, ensuring safety for patients, families, and crew.

The role requires an active RN license with 3+ years in CCU/ED settings, ACLS and PALS certification, and strong communication. BSN preferred; EMT-B bridge offered on hire.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and 3+ years in critical care or ED.
• ACLS and PALS certification required prior to hire.
• BSN preferred; CCRN and CEN preferred as advantages.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care at a critical care level during interfacility transport.
• Deliver care using ACLS protocols, and company transport orders.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and family to maintain safe transport.
• Safely lift, transfer, and maneuver patients in and out of ambulances and facilities.
• Document accurately and timely per company policy.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and supplies to Northwest Ambulance standards.
• Follow Washington State EMS protocols and company policies.
• Attend continuing education and maintain patient confidentiality.
