Job summary

Northwest Ambulance Critical Care Transport is seeking experienced ICU/ER nurses to join its Critical Care Transport Team. You will provide skilled critical care during interfacility transport, working with an EMT and Dispatch to assess patients and supervise care en route.

This role offers real autonomy, dedicated clinical support, ongoing education, and competitive wages for 24- and 12-hour shifts in Washington state.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 3 years of critical care or emergency department experience.
• ACLS and PALS certification required prior to hire.
• CEN and/or CCRN certifications preferred.
• BSN preferred; EMT-B bridge course offered upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care at a critical care / advanced life support level during interfacility transport.
• Deliver care using ACLS protocols and transport orders.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and family to maintain a safe transport environment.
• Safely lift, transfer, and maneuver patients in/ out of ambulances and facilities.
• Complete accurate documentation per company policy.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and supplies to Northwest Ambulance standards.
• Attend continuing education and maintain patient confidentiality.
