Northwest Ambulance is seeking a Critical Care Transport RN to deliver interfacility transport with ACLS-level care. You will coordinate with clinicians and families to ensure safe, high-quality patient management across shifts.

You must hold an active RN license with ACLS/PALS, and have 3 years in critical care or ER. BSN preferred; EMT-B bridge offered on hire. 401k, education reimbursement, uniforms provided, and paid PTO accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 3 years of experience in a critical care or emergency department environment.
• Certified in ACLS and PALS prior to hire.
• Certified CEN and/or CCRN preferred.
• Patient transport experience preferred.
• EMT-B bridge course will be offered upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care at a critical care / ACLS level during interfacility transport.
• Deliver care using critical care nursing skills, ACLS protocols, company protocols, transport orders, and pharmacological knowledge.
• Coordinate directly with physicians, nurses, allied health staff, patients, and family members to maintain a safe transport environment.
• Safely lift, transfer, and maneuver patients in and out of ambulances, facilities, and residences.
• Operate the emergency vehicle safely at all times and respond to dispatch instructions.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in accordance with company policy.
• Maintain vehicles, stations, communications equipment, medical equipment, and supplies to Northwest Ambulance standards.
• Follow Northwest Ambulance policies and procedures, including Washington State and County EMS protocols.
• Attend and participate in continuing education.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and company operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned
