Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio seeks a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West). You will provide patient care on a 24-bed unit with rotating shifts and bi-weekly full-time hours, including weekend and holiday rotation.

Required RN licensure in Ohio; ACLS/BLS certifications or timely acquisition are expected. Prior experience in critical care and the ability to perform advanced procedures are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Ohio.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS for healthcare provider current or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West), a 24-bed unit.
• Perform EKG interpretation and monitor telemetry.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, OT.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation and time management.
