Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a RN for the Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West) in Ohio. The role is full-time with bi-weekly hours totaling 72, and rotating weekends/holidays. A sign-on bonus is available for qualifying experience, and a new graduate bonus applies to eligible applicants.

Responsibilities include EKG interpretation, central line care, and managing advanced respiratory support. Requires Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (RN)
• Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio
• BLS certification or obtained within 90 days
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months
• BSN preferred (optional)

Responsibilities

• Provide care in Critical Care Step-Down Unit (7 West)
• Perform bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) as needed
• Monitor patients with telemetry, manage vents and respiratory support
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT
