Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West). You will care for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, using telemetry and bedside procedures. The role involves 72 Bi-Weekly Hours in a full-time schedule with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Utilize skills in EKG interpretation and bedside procedures.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, and rehab teams.
• Monitor patients with continuous telemetry and assist with vent/tracheostomy support.
