Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) on a rotating schedule. The unit handles congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis with enhanced critical care technology and a collaborative care team.

Required qualifications include Ohio RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, and professional nursing education from an accredited program. PRN may require 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider credential.
• Current ACLS certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire).
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, and therapists.
• Assist with bedside procedures and manage critical care interventions.
