Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick. The role supports patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, using telemetry and advanced nursing technologies.

The ideal candidate will hold an Ohio RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications, plus a BSN is preferred. PRN options require one year of RN experience and current certifications upon hire.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in the 7 West Critical Care Step Down Unit.
Assist with bedside procedures and monitoring.
Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT, OT.
Utilize telemetry monitoring and enhanced technology to support nursing care.
