MetroHealth in Ohio seeks a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit 7 West. The role emphasizes urgent patient care, EKG interpretation, and advanced respiratory support with central line care. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy hospital setting.

Required are Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS (or within timelines), and a minimum of 1 year RN experience for PRN. BSN is preferred and tuition benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN licensure.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide care for a 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Interpret EKGs and manage central line care.
• Support with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Assist with respiratory support: BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, Trach/Vents.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
