Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus–Glick is seeking an experienced RN to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. You will work with a 14-bed unit handling congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis patients, utilizing advanced monitoring and bedside procedures.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, with PRN flexibility for rotating weekends/holidays. BSN is preferred and opportunities for certification are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Current ACLS certification.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Interpret EKGs and monitor cardiac rhythms.
• Care for central lines and related line care.
• Manage BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, Trach/Vents as needed.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies).
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and time management.
