Job summary

ChristianaCare's Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Christiana Hospital. The role involves delivering expert care to critically ill patients, working in a high-acuity environment, and collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to implement life-saving interventions.

The ideal candidate will have a BSN (ADN considered with a BSN commitment within 3 years), at least 1 year of acute care experience, and current BLS (ACLS preferred

Qualifications

• BSN required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years)
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
