Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Christiana Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for a 36-hour/week schedule with night shifts and day rotations. You will deliver high-acuity patient care with advanced technology and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

BSN is required (ADN considered with commitment within 3 years); minimum 1 year acute care experience; BLS required and ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
