Job summary

ChristianaCare's Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide expert care for critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment at Christiana Hospital. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions during night shifts with day rotation scheduling.

BSN is required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years). Minimum 1 year of acute care experience, BLS required; ACLS preferred and must be obtained

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity ICU.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during critical moments; monitor and respond to changes in condition.
