ChristianaCare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the MICU team for a full-time night shift with day rotations at Christiana Hospital. The role demands expert nursing care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced setting and collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

BSN required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years) and a minimum of 1 year acute care experience.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
