Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Christiana Hospital. This Full-Time Flex role is 36 hours per week with night shifts and rotating days in a high-acuity setting.

You’ll deliver expert critical care, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, advocate for patients and families, and use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies. BSN required; ADN considered with commitment within 3 years.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
