Job summary

ChristianaCare's MICU is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced Medical Intensive Care Unit at Christiana Hospital. This full-time flex role includes night shifts with day rotation and a 36-hour work week, located in Newark/Christiana Hospital area, PA.

You’ll deliver expert care to critically ill patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include a BSN (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years), minimum 1 year acute care experience, BLS; ACLS

Qualifications

• BSN required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years)
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
