Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit is hiring a Registered Nurse for the MICU at Christiana Hospital. This full-time flex role (36 hrs/week) includes night shifts with day rotation.

A BSN is required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years), and at least 1 year of acute care experience is expected. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, a 403(b) plan, generous PTO, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• BSN required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years).
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
