Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a registered nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at the Main Campus. The RN will cover a 72-hour bi-weekly schedule across 12-hour shifts, with rotating weekends and holidays, focusing on high-quality patient-centered care.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active Ohio RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS is required or obtained within 6 months. PRN experience preferred with related certifications on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Ohio RN licensure.
• Current Ohio RN license and BLS for healthcare provider.
• ACLS certification or plan to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on the 14-bed Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and assist with bedside procedures.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT and OT.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation and time management.
