Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at the Main Campus. The role involves providing direct patient care in a high-acuity setting, performing bedside procedures, and coordinating with care teams to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

Candidates must hold an Ohio RN license, with ACLS/BLS certifications; BSN preferred. Rotation includes 7a-7p and 7p-7a, with rotating weekends/holidays and a bi-weekly 72-hour schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS/HCP certification; ACLS preferred or obtained within 6 months.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience in a relevant unit.
• PRN must possess all required certifications at hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Perform bedside procedures and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers and therapy staff to ensure quality care.
