Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. You will provide high-quality patient-centered care to adults in a 14-bed unit, working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.

Required: Ohio RN license, BLS, ACLS; BSN preferred. MetroHealth offers tuition reimbursement, certification incentives, and OPERS retirement benefits.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire

Responsibilities

Provide bedside nursing care in a Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, Providers, PT/OT to coordinate patient care.
Utilize EKG interpretation and central line management in daily routines.
